Everything You Need to know

Wear trays 24 hours a day — all day, all night, eating, sleeping. Only remove to clean your teeth or trays. Minimize sugar and acidic intake.
Always brush and rinse after every meal and floss at least every night before putting trays back in.
Continue to wear trays even if they break in the rare instance this happens. Call us and we'll advise next steps.
If you lose your current tray, put on your previous tray and call us immediately for further instructions.
Any lost attachments will be replaced at your next appointment if needed, unless we have otherwise specified.
Gum irritation can be solved with the ortho wax supplied in your tray case. More wax is available at any pharmacy.
For soreness, Motrin/Advil/Ibuprofen can be taken if you can tolerate it. If unsure, call your physician first.
Avoid staining foods with yellow dyes: turmeric, mustard, mac & cheese, etc. These can discolor your aligners.
